This is one of my spontaneous paintings, where I just dive in without a solid plan or composition in mind ahead of time. When I do this, I just start putting down color, take a step back to assess where it's going, and let it lead me.

This one was totally free-form, I headed in without any plans at all. My surrealist leanings really showed up in this one, along with a few recurring themes from my work both old and new. This piece is about exploration, of color, method, and the inside of my mind.
